What is an AI video clipper?
A tool that turns a long video or podcast into short vertical clips. shitShorts transcribes it word by word, scores every moment for hook, payoff and pacing, cuts the best ones, reframes them to 9:16 around whoever is speaking and adds animated captions
How many clips do I get free?
About 15 a month. The free plan includes 300 credits every month and a clip costs about 20 credits. Your first 3 clip exports are free; after that each clip export on the free plan costs 10 credits. The $10 Clipper plan gives 1,000 credits, about 50 clips, at 1080p with no watermark and 300 clip exports a month
Can I clip a YouTube video I don't own?
Only with permission. Clip videos you own, have licensed, or have the creator's permission to reuse (some creators run clipping programmes that grant it). Reposting someone else's video without permission can get your post removed or your account struck, so the clipper asks you to confirm you have the rights
How is shitShorts different from OpusClip, Klap or Submagic?
The vertical frame follows the active speaker (voices are matched to faces), a second AI pass reviews every clip before you see it, and each clip opens as a fully editable timeline project.
