Clipping

Sports highlights, cut vertical and kept on the ball

The clipper watches for crowd noise, celebrations and commentary peaks, then frames each highlight on the play with object tracking instead of a fixed centre crop

Free plan: about 15 clips a month (300 credits) · no card needed

Reactions and audio peaks mark the moments worth clipping · Real pipeline output · footage: Knuckleball Twins (CC BY)

How it works

  1. 01

    Paste a link or upload

A YouTube URL or your own file: podcasts, interviews, streams, talks, matches. Longer is fine, every minute gets scored

  2. 02

    The clipper finds the moments

It transcribes, reads faces, voices, reactions and audio peaks, then ranks candidate clips for hook, payoff, pacing and whether they stand alone

  3. 03

    Review, tweak, post

Each clip opens as an editable project in the Studio with captions and crop already in place. Export or schedule straight away

What you get

  • Ball and player tracking

An object detector keeps the play in frame through fast pans and wide shots

  • Peaks from sound and reactions

Crowd roars, commentator spikes and celebrations mark the moments worth clipping

  • Hooks for highlights

Big on-screen openers like 'watch this footwork' in your caption theme, on by default

Questions people ask

Updated October 2026

Can I post match footage I don't own?
Broadcast footage is usually owned by leagues and broadcasters. Use footage you filmed, have licensed, or that is published under a licence that allows reuse, such as Creative Commons with attribution
How does it find the highlights?
It combines audio energy, crowd and commentary peaks, visible reactions and motion to score moments, then keeps the ones that make sense on their own as a short
Does it add captions to commentary?
Yes. Commentary is transcribed and captioned word by word, and you can switch to a bold hook-only style if the clip works better with less text
